Our Mission

Creating AllStars is a project of Military Veterans Against Child Abuse which believes all children deserve to grow up safe and unafraid. Whether a child is at home, school, on the court, or just hanging out with friends, we want all children to feel empowered, loved, and respected. We feel it is the responsibility of all adults to exhibit behavior that is positive and respectful when dealing with others.

Our recent world events have left parents and children globally feeling frustrated, anxious, and unsure of what is going to happen next. This uncertainty has led to increased instances of bullying, violence, family disputes, and is spilling over into one of the places a child should feel is their sanctuary - playing sports. What's even worse is when a parent or coach loses their cool at a sporting event, because the kids are watching and mimicking what they see.

Our goal is to provide a program that youth sports organizations, families and schools can use to build a youth's self-confidence and leadership skills as well as a sense of community service. Sports can teach children the value of teamwork, character, and leadership which has been proven to translate later in life into more success in the workplace.

 Let's make being kind, respectful, and professional the norm again! We can start a global movement and document our progress by using the hashtag #CreatingAllStars and/or #BeKindAlwaysItsNotHard to start to record our acts of kindness and civility. We look forward to partnering with you all on this journey to living our best lives and playing sports with a great attitude and respect.
